Foundation for the Future: Dinner in Support of Catholic Schools

The 2012 Foundation for the Future: Dinner in Support of Catholic Schools will take place on Friday, January 20, 2012. We are pleased to welcome author, columnist and Catholic school parent Marybeth Hicks as our keynote speaker. In her groundbreaking book Bringing Up Geeks, Marybeth redefines geeks as Genuine, Enthusiastic, Empowered Kids and inspires parents to free themselves and their kids from cultural conditioning while instilling in their children truly important values.  At the Greater Lansing Catholic Education Foundation, we believe Catholic schools can be an invaluable partner in bringing up GEEKs and creating the solid Foundation children need for a successful, faith-filled Future!

We are also pleased to welcome the Most Revered Earl Boyea, Bishop of Lansing, to offer his blessing to begin our evening. Reverend Steven Mattson, Ph.D., Director of the Department of Education & Catechesis and Superintendent of Catholic Schools, will be with us to provide an update on Maintenance to Mission: Transforming Our Catholic Schools.
